The AIA Foundation and the Chinese Research Institute CFLD collaborated across cultures in order to develop the new, expanded and simplified edition of the book "Bien vivre la ville: vers un urbanisme favorable à la santé", Archibooks Publishing, which includes contributions from Chinese experts and a real-life application in Changsha.
The second volume of the book "B2V Bien Vivre la Ville" was published and presented at the Paris Healthcare Exhibition. This new book, in French, English and Chinese, with its evocative title, "Towards Healthy Urban Planning", was written in partnership with the Chinese Planning Institute, the CFLD (China Fortune Land Development). Several months of work, exchanges and workshops in France and China were necessary to produce this work, which - in the continuity of Volume 1 of the book "B2V: What if the city promoted health and well-being? - pursues the principles-based method (to reveal, question and propose) via a 4th chapter (to demonstrate).
This new chapter develops axes of reflection pertaining to the city, to health and to the environment, with a real-life example implemented in a district of the city of Changsha.
