On 11 and 12 February, from 11 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. at the Cité des Sciences, our AIA Life Designers engineers will introduce you to our professions during entertaining workshops on construction, architecture and the environment.

Meet our engineers on the stand as part of this second patronage event which promotes women in the engineering professions to young people, families and children.

Three activities on the programme (no registration required):

• Make a bio-sourced nesting box for the Cité des Sciences hens.
  Using drawings created by our engineers and architects who specialise in Raw Earth, construct a fully bio-sourced and recyclable nesting box brick by brick using Raw Earth Bricks from Cycle Terre.

• Budding builders: make raw earth bricks with our engineers.
  Get your hands dirty to make raw earth bricks with our engineers: learn the correct dosing, the correct mix, the most appropriate shape, compression and drying.

• The virtual walk: The Pompidou Centre as you have never seen it before. 
  You are invited to don a virtual reality helmet and take an original walk through the renovation project at the Pompidou Centre in Paris.

And come and be the first to explore the book “Designing and constructing better with Raw Earth”, published by the AIA Life Designers Earth Workshop and Ekopolis. Preface by Paul-Emmanuel Loiret, foreword by Vincent Venzal, PhD.
