As part of the restructuring of the Pompidou Centre in Paris, our AIA Life Designers teams @Alexis Autret/@ Jérémy Thomy/@ Laura Cassini/@ Augusto Macieira/@ Alain Popinet have created the digital mock-up of the metal structures in the existing structure. These elements are modelled using the original 1977 as-built file. The original Piano/Rogers design, which took maximum advantage of the constructive repetitiveness of the steelwork, in particular for its many cast steel parts, has been used here to produce its digital double thanks to the parametric families of Revit.
