As a key project invested by the government, the Futian District Mother and Child Hub is the first hospital integrating traditional Chinese and Western medicine for women and children in Shenzhen. This project is also the first hospital in Shenzhen to use partial prefabrication. In November 2018, AIA Life Designers won the public international competition for the design of the project. Construction of the project started officially in November 2019.
In addition, the project was selected as one of the ten best hospital architectural designs in China in 2021. It also obtained national pre-certification with a “Green Building two star” label. Delivery of the Futian District Mother and Child Hub is planned for the end of 2023.
